Hello there,

This is my first blog. I've recently started a new job where I will have a lot of time on my computer. So, I decided to start a blog to share my new adventure at work. I am now working for the tv show "V" at North Shore Studios. It can be a very busy stressful job at times working for the executives during the day running errands and distrubuting paperwork but can also be very slow and boring working when we shoot over night and the entire office staff has gone home. Which has definately been the case lately for me. Although the hours are very long, typically 14 hours per day and the job criteria can be undesirable, the pay is decent which I in fact desperately need if I ever want to support myself through a minimum of four years univercity. This is currently the goal ahead of me...A lot has changed for me over the past year that has brought me to this new goal of mine. Growing up my parents never pressured me to get a degree after highschool because that's not what they did. But as we all know in this world you pretty much can't get a good career without at the very least a bachelors degree. Except of course, in the industry Im in now; Film. Which definately pays well and seems glamorous but good luck ever having a family, friends or a boyfriend trying to pursue anything in film. So anyways, I've decided after much deliberation and, self doubt I really want to try and go back to school to make a better, happier life for myself. And thats all I really want is to be happy. Its all anyways can really ask for. Until next time.
